How to view my Comcast email account status?

Overview:
Under the Policy on Comcast.net Email Activity, users should log in to their mailbox once every 12 months to stay their email account.

  • Active:  you’ll view the status of your email account through My Account. An email account can have one among three account statuses:
    Active: Email account has been logged in to a minimum of once within the past 12 months. Additionally, email accounts with auto-forwarding enabled are considered active no matter when the last login to the account occurred.
  • Inactive:  Email account hasn’t been logged into within the past 12 months.
  • Reserved:  Email account hasn’t been found out yet. Inactive email accounts that have had their content deleted thanks to inactivity also will appear as “Reserved.”

Note: Your Inactive or Reserved account status will change to Active upon logging in to the e-mail account. Comcast email sign in.

Viewing Your Email Account Status:

  1. Go to the Services tab in My Account (you could also be asked to check-in using your Xfinity ID and password first).

  1. Open Outlook
